Best Beer Gardens In Bristol
There’s no better way to enjoy blue skies and sunny days than grabbing a cider at one of the many al-fresco drinking spots in Bristol. We’ve put together some of our favourite beer gardens so you can make the most of the marvelous weather – before the April Showers begin!
The Farm Pub - St Werburghs
The green, spacious beer garden at The Farm Pub is the perfect compliment to a kid-friendly day out meeting the animals at St Werburghs City Farm. This patch of green feels worlds away from the bustle of Gloucester road, despite being a mere stone’s throw away! Their brand new chef has introduced an impressively varied menu, with jerk chicken Fridays, International Curry night on a Wednesday, and vegan and vegetarian options available all week long! Sunday roasts at The Farm are classic and not to be missed too - have a look at their website here.

Under the Stars Bar - Harbourside
This themed floating café bar moored in the bustling harbourside brings you a taste of prohibition, with a 1920’s inspired evening of tapas, pizza and cocktails. The sunny upper deck is the perfect location to relax with friends, catch the sun and watch the modern world go by. Check out their cocktail list and menu here.
The Spotted Cow - Southville
Their sizeable beer garden in the heart of Bedminster and Southville has a British back garden feel for those looking to escape the city. Grab a group of mates and head here on a sunny day!
Highbury Vaults - Cotham
Located in the vacinity of the University, you will find students and lecturers alike relaxing here with a pint after a hard day of academia. Viewing from the front, you wouldn’t even guess the pub is hiding such a lovely, walled garden area round the back. This one definitely feels bigger on the inside.
