From Beer Festivals to Comi Con, we have decided to sum up some of the best events for the month, so you can decide which are best suited for you.
Massive Attack @ Steel Trip
Formed in 1988 in Bristol, the guys are coming back for their last UK tour dates. Before commencing their US tour, they will be playing their last UK shows on the 1st & 2nd of March in Bristol. Tickets are selling fast, so make sure you grab yours here.
CAMRA Bristol Beer Festival @ Brunel's Old Station
Pefect opportunity for beer enthusiasts to quench their thirst. The 22nd annual CAMRA Bristol Beer Festival will run from Thursday 21st to Saturday 23rd March 2019. The popular festival will have a carefully chosen selection of 140 different real ales on sale, as well as a good range of cider and perry. There will also be a variety of food available. The festival tends to sells out quickly, so make sure to get your tickets to avoid dissapointment.
Bristol International Jazz and Blues Festival @ 02 Academy Bristol, Anson Rooms & St. George's
For the seventh time, the hugely popular Jazz and Blues Festival returns to Bristol on the 22-24th March. With an exciting programme of jazz and blues from Europe, US and the UK - this festival will be sure to entice music lovers from all over the country.
Bristol Comi Con & Gaming Festival @ Action Indoor Sports
We consider this one as the odd one out, but still worthy of a mention on the list. Appropriate for all gamers and comic lovers. The event will be held on March 30th at 10-4pm. Tickets are yet to go on sale but keep up-to-date here.
Murder Mystery Supper @ The Bristol Hippodrome
This event is perfect for a fun alternative work-do. Set the scene at the Piano Bar, where you will mingle with the cast as they introduce themselves. Enjoy live music from a live pianist, before sitting down to a three-course meal. Five professional actors will tease you with clues, rumours and gossip throughout the night to keep you guessing at every turn, as you unravel the mystery of whodunit! The event will take place on the 22-23rd of March. Tickets are selling fast so make sure to get yours soon.
Back to the 80's @ The Lanes in Bristol
Looking for a nostalgic throwback? Back to the 80's are back for round 2 after a very successful launch party. Old school songs will be played through the night such as: Michael Jackson/ Madonna/ Duran Duran/ David Bowie/ George Michael/ Depeche Mode/ Guns N Roses/ Queen/ Culture Club/ Bon Jovi/ Phill Collins / The Human League/ Tina Turner and many more. We love the sound of that line-up so decided to include it in the list. The event will take place on 23rd of March, and tickets can be purchased here.
Annie @ Bristol Hippodrome
Last but not least, Annie is returning directly from the West End. Described as a 'Glorious Revival' by The Times, The Tony award-winning Annie will touring the UK this March and will be displayed in Bristol from the 18th of March.
Set in 1930s New York during The Great Depression, Annie is forced to live a life of misery at Miss Hannigan’s orphanage. Her luck soon changes when she's chosen to spend a fairytale Christmas with famous billionaire, Oliver Warbucks. Make sure to get your tickets here.
