Time for Fun in February
After what has seemed like the longest month on record, February is finally here, so let’s ditch those January blues and look forward to what’s to come! Days are finally getting longer, and with half-term week fast approaching, there’s a lot to get excited about in Bristol this month.
Feeling energised after completing Veganuary? Why not put your vegan cake-baking skills to the test! Head to Bakesmiths on Whiteladies road to take part their vegan- baking workshop on 23rd February. Family Days Out
Get interactive this half-term week with activities the whole family can enjoy. There are treasures (and pirates) to be found at Bristol Aquarium. Delve into the mysteries of the ocean, discover deep sea-creatures, and hunt for hidden treasure. You might even get the chance to meet a real-life mermaid! See here for details.
Across the harbour, try a 'family takeover day' and become a member of the crew at Brunel’s SS Great Britain. Go behind the scenes, play games on the ship’s deck, model traditional Victorian costumes, and try your hand at coal shoveling on the dockyard. Find out more.

Need some cheering up? Have some laughs with ‘Up the Antics’, featuring stand-up, sketches and improv comedy from local talent and headline acts, at St George's Bristol.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Tobacco Factory
