News: The Clifton Hotel has been upgraded to 3*
We are so proud to announce that The Clifton Hotel, has officially been upgraded to a 3* hotel!
Our lovely Clifton Hotel has incredibly been part of the leisure and tourism scene in Bristol for almost 60 years. From our humble beginnings as a small B&B in Clifton, we at Quarter have strived to become one of Bristol’s leading hospitality groups. Over recent decades, Quarter have gone from strength to strength, with multiple hotels, restaurants, bars, property, and exciting events popping up all over the vibrant city, and we have even more plans to expand in the near future. On top of the recent upgrade we are also celebrating our 60th anniversary this summer, an achievement we are immensely proud of, and one we certainly think is worth celebrating!
In the middle of 2018, Quarter began renovation work on the listed Clifton Hotel building, which sits just above popular spot Racks Bar & Kitchen on St Pauls Road. Want to know what this renovation work included? All of the rooms have newly fitted bathrooms, beds, desks, mini bars, and are freshly painted in addition to other new fixtures and fittings. In addition to this, some of the Twin and Single rooms have been converted to King rooms. You should see the size of these beds!
Overall, it is very rewarding to see our hard work pay off, after a hectic few months juggling renovations, refurbishments and a busy summer with the stimulating Howthelightsgetin Festival. Therefore, it is with great pride to be able to announce that The Clifton Hotel has officially been upgraded to a 3* hotel by the AA, joining sister hotel The Rodney in this category. Rooms at The Clifton Hotel are available from £41.
