Below you’ll find all of the weird and wonderful things that are on, including workshops, cookery classes and doing your own love-lock!
Tea Blending Workshop at Bird & Blend
If tea is your tipple of choice, you’ll love this tea-riffic workshop at your chosen Bird & Blend store. Whether you want to go solo or with some friends, this evening will be a different experience! As well as having unlimited drinks all night, you can learn all about your favourite teas and tea blending, how they are made and what the health benefits are. You can take your own unique tea blend home with you, which will be designed, packaged and named all by you! Don’t forget to take advantage of the tea cocktail bar… Find more information here

Why not treat yourself and a loved one to a night of a 5 course tasting menu, accompanied by 5 Australian Wines. Visit the Bristol Porridge Project
A porridge café, who would of thought such a thing existed! Down the cobbled lanes of Trenchard Street, you’ll find the Bristol Porridge Project tucked away on the corner. This is definitely a fun and quirky little trip to take this summer, with a variety of luscious toppings available for your porridge at only £3 each, we’d say that’s a trip worth taking. Why not try the ‘crazy Clifton combo’ – a mix of dates, cacao nibs, cranberries, hazelnuts, apple and cinnamon on a bowl of freshly rolled hot oats and a sensational coffee. Mmmm! Find more here
Bristol Balloon Fiesta
The Bristol Balloon Fiesta is an annual event that we hope every Bristolian has been to before, but if you haven’t, take a trip this year! A warm summer’s evening spent outside at the beautiful Ashton Court Estate is always a good idea. For your free ticket, you will get to see the nightglows, fireworks, and you can even go a step further and do glamping! The mass ascents aren’t to be missed either, which offer amazing views of dozens of hot air balloons in the sky which take place in the morning and evening on each day of the festival. You can see them all over Bristol! Find out more here
Little Kitchen Cookery School
Looking to expand your recipe repertoire? Give the Little Kitchen Cookery School a go! With classes for adults, parties or kids, there’s something for everyone to try! From baking macarons, bread, cakes and decadent desserts to cooking pasta, sushi, curry or Mexican, you’ll definitely learn some new techniques with these varied workshop classes (and have a delish meal at the end too). Who knows, you may be the next Gordon Ramsay… Find out more here
Put a padlock on Pero’s Bridge
If you’ve ever walked across Pero’s Bridge by the harbourside, you may have noticed all of the quaint little padlocks across the railings with peoples names scribbled on them. You don’t have to have a loved one to put a padlock up with, even just a friend or a family member can join you! This is a nice way to create a little memory for you and others, and you can revisit your padlock anytime! Then you can spend the rest of the day exploring what else the harbourside has to offer
That’s just the very tip of the iceberg of things you can add to your bucket list this summer. If you’re still looking for more ideas, check out the events on at the Square Club here
