HowTheLightGetsIn 2018 - Preparation begins!
Spring is round the corner, and preparations for HowTheLightGetsIn 2018, the world’s largest philosophy and music festival, are full steam ahead.
Starting from this year’s festival’s theme, Darkness, Authority and Dreams, the festival will interrogate our dark and turbulent era across over 150 debates and talks in search of some pointers towards a better future. With a highly anticipated speaker line-up which already includes Shadow Home Secretary Diane Abbott, legendary linguist and political sage Noam Chomsky, British film director Sophie Fiennes, physicist Lawrence Krauss and former Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams, festival-goers and panellists will participate in a panoply of discussions on everything from the logic of post-truth to the creeping commercialisation of feminism.
Alongside this rich debate programme, HowTheLightGetsIn 2018 will feature over 500 artists and performers across 12 stages. Joining headliners The Orb, Hot Chip (DJs), The Correspondents and Nerina Pallot are folk legend Badly Drawn Boy, chanteuse Camille O’Sullivan, Scissor Sisters star Ana Matronic and many more.
Running over the Bank Holiday weekend from 25th-28th May 2018, in the idyllic town of Hay-On-Wye, the festival is a must for summer. Tier 3 tickets have just been released and are now on sale for a limited time only. Don’t miss out!
