If you’re looking to burn off the food you’ve eaten, you can summit Cabot Tower for unrivalled panoramic views of Bristol- see if you can find where you’re staying in the skyline. The Downs by Clifton Suspension Bridge
There’s nothing that screams Bristol more than the Suspension Bridge. Sit atop the hill side by side with the iconic landmark, and enjoy your lunch with a view. You can pick up supplies in any number of independent delis or bakeries in Clifton village on the way, and if you realise you’ve not packed enough once you arrive no need to panic; the Observatory café offers a tasty selection of hot and cold food and drinks, without making walk all the way back up the hill you just bravely summited.
The Clifton/Durdham Downs
Sitting above the city atop Whiteladies Road a grassy retreat awaits.
